Kelsey Busuttil  International Women’s Day Finalist

We are incredibly proud to share that TFC Academy athlete Kelsey Busuttil has been named a finalist in the Cairns Regional Council Young Woman of the Year Awards.

Being recognized as part of International Women's Day celebrations is a meaningful achievement that reflects Kelsey’s leadership, dedication, and positive impact within her community.

Kelsey continues to demonstrate excellence across both sport and character.

Her discipline, work ethic, and commitment to growth reflect the values we strive to cultivate within our Academy environment.

This recognition is a powerful reminder that success is built through consistency, resilience, and purpose.

First Nations Talent Pathway - Cairns

As part of our commitment to supporting athlete development and opportunity, we are excited to share an upcoming initiative delivered by the Queensland Academy of Sport.

YouFor2032 Talent Search Program

First Nations Testing & Information Session

📍 Redlynch Stadium (3 Chelsea Lane, Redlynch)

📅 Saturday, 7th March

⏰ 2:30pm – 5:30pm

This session will include:

 • In-person athletic testing battery

• An information session for parents and community members

• Overview of athlete development pathways and support opportunities

The program is open to any athletes aged 13–23 years.

Parental or guardian consent is required on the day of testing, and paper consent forms will be provided.

We encourage families, community members, and supporters to share this opportunity with young athletes who may benefit from this experience.
